Our internal door handles, often referred to as interior door handles, are categorized into 13 series based on design language, making it easy to distinguish them by product names, such as Filda and Midal. The numbers following the series names often represent product variants, reflecting similar design elements or appearances. For instance, Svik-01 and Svik-02 both feature knurled patterns as a core design element, with subtle differences in the arrangement of the texture.

Each series offers a variety of finishes to suit different interior styles. Currently, we have nine finishes available, including Satin Brass, Antique Brass, and Black. You can explore all finish options using the "Filter (Finish)" tool on the collection page. At Xth Avenue, every pair of internal door handles comes with two purchasing options:

[Pair of Handles (Knobs)]: A set of two handles for you to pair with locks, latches, and other hardware accessories of your choice.
[Mortise Lock Set (Thumb Turn)]: A complete set including a Mortise Lock Body, Euro Cylinder Lock (Thumb Turn), Escutcheon, Strike Plate, and other fixings. All accessories match the handle's finish for a unified aesthetic.

What is the difference between internal door handles and interior door handles?

Internal door handles and interior door handles are often used interchangeably. Both refer to handles designed for use on indoor doors.

Can these internal handles be used on a front door or exterior door?

From a mechanical standpoint, there’s no issue with installing these internal handles on a front or exterior door. However, it's important to note that these handles are primarily designed for interior use, where aesthetic appeal is prioritized over extreme durability. In outdoor environments—especially in coastal or high-humidity areas—the finish may degrade more quickly, impacting the overall appearance. Additionally, exterior door handles typically require enhanced security features, such as better resistance to tampering or forced entry, which internal handles are not specifically built to provide.

It’s also worth mentioning that Xth Avenue offers a 5-Year Structural Warranty and a 12-Month Finish Warranty on its door handles, but this warranty explicitly excludes coverage for handles installed on exterior doors. For optimal performance and longevity, we recommend using handles specifically designed for external applications.
